The 2015 Annual Bucksbaum Institute Donor Symposium will be held on Friday, April 24th from 12:30-4:30 PM.


Dr. Peter Ubel from Duke University will give the keynote talk on “Empowerment Failure: Why Doctors and Patients Often Fall Short of the Ideals of Shared Decision-Making.”


Following the keynote lecture there will be brief abstract presentations by some Bucksbaum Institute Seniror Faculty, Junior Faculty and Medical Student Scholars. The afternoon will conclude with a panel discussion featuring distinguished Bucksbaum Institute Advisory Board members Dr. Arthur Rubenstein, Dr. Jordan Cohen, and Dr. Laura Roberts and the 2015 Pritzker Poerty Contest awards presentation.

Box lunches will be provided.


Directions: Please enter the Center for Care and Discovery at 5700 S. Maryland Avenue and proceed to the 7th floor Sky Lobby and follow signs to the Conference Center Boardroom.
